Vehicle description

1949 Willis Jeep Jeepster, very rare car, been in storage 25+ years in eastern Georgia where it spent most of its life. I purchased from estate sale with open bill of sale from auction company about 6 months ago. Paint was stripped and primed and painted with premium enamal, so-so paint job done in garage. New sheet metal installed on back floor (front floorboards replaced some time ago before stored), aftermarket seats recovered several years ago installed, and some rocker rust repaired but not fully. Original rims are included, not pictured. Car is complete, engine taken out to freshen up, not finished. Block was checked, new valve job done, and cylinders honed, standard bore. New rings installed on pistons, one new piston installed because something heavy fell on piston while out of car. Crankshaft checked and good, ready to put back together. Clutch and pressure plate checked good. Bearings and gasket set not included. Carb is complete, probably needs rebuilding. Radiator looks very good. Three speed transmission on column, shifts as it should. Brakes need rebuilding. Great winter project, you won"t find another in your town probably. Only 3000 were built in 1949. $500 due within 48 hours, balance due within 10 days. Pickup in 10 days unless other arrangements made. Located in Mobile, AL 36693. Has tow bar and can pull as-is. I towed it 450 miles. Selling due to buying a new convertible and giving up on this project, getting too old for this. No title on vehicle, Alabama does not title old cars, Bill of Sale to be issued.
