Here for sale is a very nice restored 1949 Ford F-1, 1/2 ton, short box pickup. The flathead V-8 sounds quiet and smooth. Shifts well. The body is very good and the paint is nice. New wood bed. Good glass. New radial tires and vintage FORD hubcaps. The underside is in excellent condition as well. The interior was also restored and looks great. Redone bench seat is comfortable. Interior was repainted and the rare heater does work. The windows work well. The doors open and shut well. The dome light works. Very nice cab floor area as well. All the gauges work except the fuel gauge. I suspect a fuel gauge float problem. The other gauges are working. Headlights and taillights work. Turn signals work. Horn works. The hood opens, stays up, and closes and stays closed. The doors open and shut solidly with no ratteling. Has been stored in a storage unit. This would be a cool vintage pickup to buzz around town in. Go for a malt or to the hardware store in your "49 Ford! Sold in as-is condition. Inspection available. No warranty.
