Vehicle description
Listing my 1 off custom 1949 Chevy choptop styleline.
I started this project with the intentions of having a great driving kustom lead sled. After some snowballing and over building it I would rather put money into things that I can enjoy more often.
Suspension: -Mustang II front end with tubular A-arms -4 link rear-custom rear notch -Front power disc brakes -Rear drum brakes fully rebuilt -Custom made driveshaft fully balanced by Machine Services in Green Bay W I -Power rack and pinion steering -Airbagit front air bags -Slam specialty rear air bags. -1/4 line air bag setup -Little Larry’s manual valves -Viar analog gauges -Twin viar 450 compressors -8-10 gallon tank with drain, and quick disconnect for running air tools or airing up tires
Body: -Vent windows modified and re-chromed -Amazing paint job by Mitch Knaack at Neenah Main Auto Body (a few small flaws but this paint and body work really speak for itself in person) YES it looks like first pictures in the sun! ! -Chopped 3” A-pillar 7” C-pillar -Pancaked decklid (roughly 4” off the back) -Frenched headlights -Peaked hood -Shaved gas filler -Shaved door handles -Shaved antenna -1950 dodge taillights grafted in and mounted upside down (rechromed) -Molded rear splash pan -Custom glass with 1 piece windshield -Core support and inner fenders have been blasted and powder coated -Factory 15” wheels blasted and powder coated with chrome spider caps -New Coker radial wide white wall tires -Roof and floor fully sound proofed -New stainless rocker panel moldings -Beltline trim has been professionally straightened and polished -Grill base has been sand blasted and powdercoated silver metalflake
Interior: -Custom white headliner done the right way, all headliners bows were reworked for it -Custom carpet that Velcro’s in and out -Dash pin striped by Ryan Evans from counts customs -Tilt column shaved and painted body color -Restored 1956 bel air steering wheel with new chrome horn ring -All new weather stripping, window felt and tracks -Sill plates sandblasted and powder coated silver metalflake -Garnish molding professionally straightened and polished -All new stainless steel interior trim screws-all garnish moldings chopped and repainted body color and pinstripped -Custom dash knobs throughout the interior -Factory gauges do not work. Custom IPad flips behind speaker grill and runs obdII blue tooth for gauges and gps speedometer
Drivetrain: -5.3 lm4 (LS based all aluminum) engine fully re-gasketed, new valve seals, valves lapped roughly 140,000 miles originally -4L80e trans (has noise off of deceleration and comes with a low mile replacement) -Gennie shifter and a 1 off shift knob -BOP non c-clip 10 bolt rear end fully rebuilt with Yukon limited slip and motive gear 373 gears, new bearings and seals -quiet 2.25” dual exhaust that dumps before rear tires -champion polished 3 core aluminum radiator -all new wiring by Rebel Wire -Wolo air horn -Spal electric cooling fan
Car runs great, stops good, handles and rides well but these are the finishing things it needs: -seats need to be redone as well as the door panels (my interior guy quoted me 3500-4000 to be finished, most material has been purchased and included, if you want him to finish it that would be great) -bumpers arent very nice, they have chrome tape on them, new chrome smoothies are $700 for the pair -needs front bump stops (had to weld some metal on temporarily since I had to put car in storage for a year after I sold my house) -Could use some under dash wiring cleaned up -rear window hasn’t been installed because package tray is incomplete (was trying to decide on sinking speakers into package tray) -air filter setup isn’t done and is temporary -transmission makes bad noise on deceleration and i will include a low mileage 4l80e upon purchase
this is still a project car but add your finishing touches to interior to make it your own! sold as is
