Vehicle description
Barn Find 1949 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special
For the vintage cadillac enthusiast looking for a reasonably-priced candidate for restoration, look no further. This unmolested Fleetwood 60 Special is rock solid, complete, and in extraordinary condition for a car that is 69 years old. Missing only the original air cleaner, the car still has its original 331 cubic inch V-8 (the fabled engine of choice for hot-rodders of the early 50"s), 4 speed automatic hydramatic transmission, all four original sombrero wheel covers, and both left and right rear factory fender skirts! Last licensed in 1963, this car has been sitting for many years. It"s a classic, elegant automobile ready to be brought back to its original glory. On the other hand, this car holds huge potential to be transformed into a bad-ass street cruiser. With its killer patina, it"s not hard to envision this Caddy, bagged and rolling low…(and turning heads). This car was sold in and lived it"s entire life in Spokane, Washington and as such, had very little exposure to any moisture. It even comes with a tattered document showing the name of the original owner!
I am acutely aware that the value of the component parts of this Cadillac are worth considerably more than what I am asking for it. But I am a car guy, and I don"t have the heart to part it out. For the asking price, I will include an extra 4 speed hydramatic transmission from this same vintage of car. You likely won"t see another one like this, as these cars are becoming incredibly rare. The title is clean and clear.
The car is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. I will assist is the vehicle being picked up for shipping, but shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer.
