Vehicle description
Originally restored about 15 years ago, including all new wood. In 2010 the woody won it"s senior award at Hershey, Pa. as an original. I purchased the wagon from the original owner/builder, whose shop performed the restoration. Being a "Street Rodder", the Buick was destined for another chapter of it"s life. My mission was to keep it all Buick, a fully remanufactured 455 with attached 400 turbo, leading a 1991 Roadmaster rear with a 2.54 factory installed "cruisin" gear held in place by 4 adjustable links. A 1970 Nova front clip leads the way with fully adjustable arms to assure .proper caster/camber adjustments. A FAST fuel injection system was installed with pump in tank, Ignition, wiring also upgraded. Creature comforts include, PS, PDB, AC/HEAT, Radial tires, electric wipers, modern radio, gauges, Tilt, etc. The interior was finished in real leather. Ride and handling are great for a vehicle of it"s size and age. A common remark at local show is "I have never seen one before" as this is body #177 of 1847 built. Obviously, this may be the only fully modified one. As is normal, a 15 year old restoration will show some ageing and still be presentable. Will consider 1970-1972 Skylark convertible, 455, matching numbers, as part trade. All questions will be answered thru Ebay
