Vehicle description
This 1948 MG TC is finished in white over tan and is powered by a 1250cc XPAG inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The Engine and transmission were rebuilt and all wiring replaced .Equipment includes a tan soft top and side curtains. The restoration was done by Jim Swinson of British Car Services in Pohatan ,Va. He is available to answer questions if you request his phone number. Recently the brakes were bled and adjusted. The car was stored in a heated garage for many years, the owner can"t drive it anymore. A Tompkins steering kit that consists of a machined and polished aluminum casting which houses a roller thrust bearing and spacer has been added, The clutch push rod has been replaced, the new unit provides adjusting capabilities. 99% of all parts used came from Moss Motors a few were purchased from The Frame Up TC in Arizona. True mileage unknown. The car has been driven very little since the restoration and every effort has been made to upgrade the mechanical condition. The owner recommends having it inspected upon arrival before getting on the road.
