Selling a 1948 Crosley station wagon . Originally used for the Pittsburg Rockets Drum and Bugle Corps parade vehicle. I purchased this car in 2013 and did a complete frame off rotisserie restoration. Thousands of dollars invested and many hours of labor to make this Crosley look and drive new again. The following work was done over a three year period: Below are some of the work and parts involved in restoring this great little vehicle. 250 miles since restoration completed. Failing health forces sale. · Body removed from frame and stripped to bare metal · Frame and suspension stripped and to bare metal and painted · Front floor replaced · All new suspension bushings · Under body painted with oil based primer black paint and rubberized undercoating · All new brake and clutch cables · Rebuilt transmission · New clutch rebuilt pressure plate and throw out bearing · Engine bored 0.60 over, new pistons, rings, connecting rods and crankshaft and bearings · New hard valve seats, guides and seals · Rebuilt oil pump, water pump, starter and generator and new fuel pump · New copper core installed in radiator · Complete new wiring harness and new Optima 800cca 6 volt battery · All new windshield rear and side windows · Body painted with British racing green single stage urethane, hand wet sanded and polished · Both front seats upholstered with genuine leather · Led brake light · 5 new radial tires and tubes (one for spare tire) · The floor has insulation applied but the black carpet has not been installed but is included in the sale. · I have receipts for parts · The car is titled and currently registered here in NC · Please ask any questions before bidding · A $500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of winning the bid.
