Vehicle description

If you are looking at this Austin Pickup you probably know a great deal about them. The vin number is riveted to the chassis. This is a left hand export which was found in the barn of the estate of sn old drag race collector guy, His name unknown. Located in New Jersey. All of the body was detached from the chassis. There is no title, a solvable problem but takes 3-4 months in NJ. The door sills are rotted and very poor but the body is good. The inner door bottoms are solid with visible drain holes. The cab and fenders all have the underside edging. Everting has surface rust. The hood and roof have pitting but no rust thru. Fair to say this outside a long time. The hood hinges and front latch lock work. Door hinges are not complete, one has a bolt hinge pin. Not all screws are in the hinges. The body parts are lightly bolted together with out any effort to line up. Two guys could remove all body parts to the frame in under an hour. The windshield is shot but the door glass is really nice and roll up and down. The doors latch also. The rear cab glass is good but out. The parking lights have glass lenses off. Not a wire on the truck connected to anything. There is a rust thru in the frame on the right side under the cab. The front end is linkage is loose and steering is sloppy. Of course no steering wheel. Oddly the front springs look much newer. The aluminum bed sides are banged up. The tail gate in hung in place has no hinges and it too is banged up. The whole trunk bed needs rebuild. But it’s here. The tail 3 lights are there. This has 7 inch head light buckets . Nothing is hooked up. The truck has no vent windows. Per Austin Works, Mr Austin website this means it is a 48. Please ask for photo you may want and be free with questions No I don’t have an asking price. It is a roller. If is 13’4” long and 5’6” high 5’4” wide. When new it weighed 2950 pounds. I will provide a notarized bill of sale identifying that the vehicle does not run is not complete and was required unassembled.
