Vehicle description
Top of the line 1941 President Skyway Land Cruiser. Needs complete restoration, would also make a cool luxury restomod. Last photo is of another, restored Land Cruiser (ours) to help envision the potential. Clear WA title in my name.
Very solid car overall; surface rust only, except for the wheel/toolwell in the trunk as shown in picture 11 which is common. No other rust thru is apparent. I included some other underside/door post photos to show that. This car came from the Eastern Washington desert and has been stored indoors ever since.
The 250 straight 8 is currently stuck (soaking) but is all there including a rebuilt starter. 3 speed overdrive. Also included are: Tail light bezel to replace broken one, trunk latch parts to replace broken latch, NOS trunk hinge assy to replace sprung hinge, right side unbroken grille (needs chrome) to replace broken right side grille, extra hood, intact truck steering wheel (as the existing Skyway wheel is shot), spare dashboard (minus a few parts), unbroken curved rear window with stainless trim and new weatherseal, and a few other odds and ends.
Another "41 Land Cruiser hulk and chassis (stripped of most parts, but a roller) is also included if you want it, bill of sale only. Note to hot rodders, if you don"t want the engine/transmission, I"m willing to pull it to keep as a spare, and refund 15 percent of final purchase price to you. (The frame is cross braced and quite stout; engine bay is HUGE. .)
