Vehicle description
1941 Studebaker Commander Two Door Coupe.
The automobile is located in Southwest Missouri. I has been stored outside, and seems to be all original, with no modifications. The vehicle being 76 years old, shows it"s age, as well as rust, wear and tear, plus the fact of weathering. We are in possession of this 1941 Studebaker Commander through the process of an estate inheritance. It is our intent to sell automobile as is where is. We will provide to you, to the best of our ability, any information about the vehicle we have access to. The last documentation of operation is an insurance paper from 1964. This car has been one family’s possession.
The photographs that are shown, show the best views of front, back, sides the interior of auto and pertinent areas. There is a latch inside the auto for hood release, we were unable to open hood. The original motor is in place, just not viewable from raising hood. All windows, lights, door handles, mirrors and accessories are all in place. The cloth cushions, seats are all still original, however in deteriorated condition. The floor boards have rust, no gaping holes or damage and appear in remarkably good shape, with very few spots that are rusted through.
We are not restoration experts or automobile evaluation specialist. Our opinions of the condition are based upon inspection, professional photographs, common sense knowledge.
The buyer is responsible for removal of the automobile from the location. Upon sale completion, arrangements with buyer for payment will include Bill of Sale, documentation of ownership. Certified Bank Draft or Cashiers Check or electronic payment accepted only.
Due to the remote location of the vehicle, random tours, or showing are not an option. Serious inquires and bids will be given opportunity. From Springfield, Missouri it is three hour round trip.
