Vehicle description
This is a lovely 1940 Packard 120. A great car for touring or just driving around town, this beauty has been well-maintained.
The 120 was introduced by Packard in the latter part of the Great Depression and marked their first foray into the less expensive 8 cylinder market.
A tall grille with the Packard ridge at the top, a long hood and tasteful bodywork all identify this as a Packard through and through. Steel wheels with hubcaps look great with handsome white sidewall tires.
The brown cloth interior is not original, but is true to the Packard look of 1940. The back seat is truly massive by modern standards and the trunk is gigantic.
Three-on-the-tree shifting is responsive, and the car starts easily and the engine runs well.
Nicely preserved and just right for getting out and driving, this Packard 120 offers all the driving pleasure of the more expensive senior cars at a friendly price.
Please note that while the information in this listing is believed to be correct, this car is being sold AS-IS and it is the buyer"s responsibility to verify things that are important to the buyer. Please ASK QUESTIONS; we will do our best to answer them.
