A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE
I am selling my 1940 Cadillac 60 Special which I have had for many years.
It has new exhaust, brakes, electric fuel pump, new tires, new stainless hubcaps [I also have the originals to go with it] new head gaskets, new radiator, new temperature sending unit, rebuilt generator, new voltage regulator and battery.
The rocker panel trim is off in the pictures but I have them and they will go with the car.
This car has NO RUST
The engine is very good, does not smoke , does not use oil and runs so quiet that you will forget it is running. The 3 speed manual transmission is very good, shifts easily and smoothly. The car rides well and I have run it up 95 miles per hour on the freeway.
The interior of the car is quite good and is original.
The trunk is clean with a spare tire and the original jack. I have purchased several of the rubbers for it [windshield, rear window and some of the others] and they will go with the car. All of the glass is good and it has outside rear view mirrors. This is a car you can drive wherever you want to. It rides well, handles well, stops well, is fun to drive and has good power. I drive it around town and to the grocery store. When people see it they want to stop and talk about it. Everything on the dash works with the exception of the radio and clock, and the under seat heaters also work. This is really a very nice 1940 Cadillac and it is about 95% original.
