Vehicle description
1934 Mercedes 500 K Replica For those that are not aware, the Mercedes Benz 500 K design originally done by Mercedes is considered one of the favorite designs of the 20 th Century. Today an original 500 K could be worth multiples of millions. Wealthy collectors vote with their wallets and they are really enthusiastic about the 500 K. This car gets so much attention when driven, everybody stops to stare and if it is parked it always draws a crowd of enthusiastic lookers. So it is not hard to understand that when fiberglass replica cars were very popular in the 1980s and the 1990s, some manufacturers decided to make a 500 K replica car. One of the more well known companies of this type was called Heritage Motors and they decided to make their version of the 1934 Mercedes 500K, if you ever get an opportunity to take a look at the original 500K you will be amazed at how much the Heritage Replica looks almost identical to the original. The Excaliber was another replica that was made during this time and certainly of the highest quality and certainly the Heritage Motor cars are of a similar caliber. The Heritage Kit was originally purchased in 1991 but the car was not assembled until several years later and was professionally done by Ashley Automotive Restorations in Auburn, MI. The car was completed around 2014. Take a good look at the photos and you will see the very high quality of the build and the excellent cosmetics and chrome, the gorgeous interior and the snug fitting convertible top. To top that off the car has an almost identical look to a 500K. Yes of course there are little differences but overall the feel and silhouette is pretty much on the money. (A lot more so than an Excalibur that also mimics a Mercedes). Built into this car is such conveniences that make it a pleasure to drive such as the V8 Chevy 350, 4-barrel carburetor and a 700R4 automatic transmission and Vintage Air (not currently working). Gorgeous Black Cherry paint with black fenders and running boards. All components used on the car were new components. Now get this, the car has only 785 miles on it, almost qualifies it for what they call a “no mileage car”. The car drives straight and smooth! 1991 Chevy 350 4-barrel carburetor 700R4 automatic transmission New Lokar shifter Vintage air, currently not blowing cold. 17” Dayton Wire Wheels AM/FM stereo with CD player. This car is very large, 18 feet long and about 3,750 pounds. The car is titled as a 2010 Assembled vehicle as required by the Secretary of State. It is a clear title and ready to transfer into the new buyer’s name. If you are looking for a car that you can stop people dead in their tracks when they see it at a car show or a car that you want to get out and go on long tours, this is definitely the car that you could be searching for! The car has a very low reserve so everybody can bid to win! Call for shipping quote and/or questions.
