This 1932 Ford Roadster is a top-of-the-line build, with no expense spared! The build was done by Bobby Bleed at Midwest Fabrication. It all started with an all-steel Brooksville body and fenders.
The top was chopped 2 inches for that perfect hot rod look. The body was painted in Ford Ingot Silver which gives it a timeless classy appeal when paired with Dayton Jaguar style wire wheels and wide white wall tires. Subtle pinstriping breaks up the silver metallic paint and accents the classic body lines.
1936 Oldsmobile hood sides and 1949 Hudson taillights have been installed to add a touch of class to typically overlooked areas. The builder retained the large original style 1932 Ford headlights that have been nicely chromed. The black cloth Sid Shavers top has never been folded and finishes off the exterior nicely.
Under this Model 18 sits a new 1932 Ford frame with a 32 style Ford heavy beam front axle that has been chromed and completed with Pete and Jake"s front disc brakes. The rear end is a Ford 9" from an early 70s Ford Bronco and it features 3.50 gears and Pete and Jake"s ladder bars to hold it firmly in place. This car is gorgeous from every angle and only gets better when you open the hood and doors. Under the hood is a nicely dressed up 1958 Ford 312 with an Offenhauser intake topped with 3 Stromberg Super 7 carburetors and a GM mini alternator. The gem of an engine really pops against the dark grey metallic firewall! That V8 engine is mated to a T-5 World Class 5-speed manual transmission, which then sends power to the legendary Ford 9" rear end. An MSD distributor, custom headers, Thunderbird valve covers, and plenty of chrome top off the engine beautifully.
Open the door and you will be impressed with the custom interior featuring a 1951 Ford Anniversary steering wheel, 1940 Ford dash with classic gauges, working cowl vent, and great sound system with the stereo hidden in the glovebox for a clean look. Other neat features of this 1932 Ford include signal lights hidden in the headlights, a 14-gallon fuel tank, F1 steering box, and aluminum Corvette style master cylinder. With just 2,292 miles since built, this roadster is broken in. If you are looking for an elegant and stylish vintage Ford to add to your collection, or immediately start winning shows with, please give this 32 a chance. The more you look, the more you will fall in love!
