This Detroit electric car is a model 97 type 32 car. It is a four passenger brougham car on a light chasis. It is equipped with a "fold away" jump seat on the front passenger side. The car is all original except the interior fabric has been replaced and it had a paint job - I am guessing 50"s or 60"s work. Mileage is 10115 miles which I feel is accurate. Most electric cars never got that much use. Batteries are old and should be replaced. Trojan T-105 deep cell batteries seem to be the choice. 100+ miles to a charge. The pictured charger goes with the car which was with it when I got it. Tires are brand new. Wire rim wheels were sand blasted /primed/and painted black. The Detroit is serial # 13688. Ship date was between 3/3-4/4 of 1932. The car can be enjoyed as is or your choice on new paint or interior. I am not looking for any trades or tire kickers. Bid according to your means.
