1930 American Austin
This car is defiantly on the less common side and it can be said that the American Austin story owns a piece of pre-war auto history. . 1930 was the first year of production as they rolled off the line in Grand Rapids Mi and Butler Pa. .Eventually America Austin evolved into Bantam. .The Pictures show that this is a small car. .I put the picture of the dog by the car for scale. .
The car is fresh out of storage. .The 46 cubic Inch 4 cyl motor starts and runs. .Was driven around the lot but not extensively on the road. .The body is solid. .Paint has flaws-chips-cracks. .Interior and glass in fair condition. .The car is free of wholesale rot and rust. .Unfortunately I do not have an extensive history of the car other than the basics. .
