Vehicle description
For sale 1929 Hudson coupe- greater or super six- this is not an Essex coupe there is a difference this has long hood, wide running boards and bigger fenders, most rare thing is it has clean Colorado title this is not a salvage title but has a clear non-salvage title was changed over from the old style to new when bought in 2012 from original owner had to apply for lost title so it shows bond but it was replaced. This hot rod slash rat rod look has been done on a Mustang II suspension with a Chevy 355 a 350 bored over it has a th350 transmission with shift kit a Ford 8 inch rear end with 2.9 gears. Motor built strong 400 hp at flywheel scat rods crank Keith black pistons custom comp cam solid push-rods comp high performance hydraulic lifter 1.5 full roller rockers custom vortex heads of the right cast #12550592 12559846 12560621 12562174 I have a few motors with these heads do not remember which cast # is on which car but I use these cast numbers. changed to 2.02 1.6 valves multi grind angle valves have enlarged bowels for added exhaust flow and intake flow. Has Edelbrock 2101 intake with spacer. Holly 4412 500 cfm carb. It has MSD ignition on a locked advance distributor, it has a 4 core aluminum radiator with electric fan. This car is a full Hudson body and frame,, but the driver side door and radiator shell are not they had to be made to fit from Hudson limousine cars. The car has no rust rot in the body hood or fenders or radiator shell. the driver side door sheet metal as a little but frame part of door is solid this car is part street rod and part rat rod. The rat rod part is that it has many different pieces making up the rest of a full Hudson body into a car,, has things like bumpers from various cars, the door handles not original from 30"s but they all lock and have key, dash gauges mixed stuff, headlights and tail lights after market 12 volt not Hudson. It has mustang II wiring and steering column. It has rack and pinion steering power steering and power breaks disk front,, drum back with brake adjuster. The Hudson coupe car came from factory with suicide doors so this is stock not after market. The interior has 2005 Chrysler seabring convertible seats that have been ¼ inch steel plated to frame so shoulder belts should hold in wreck not just attached to wood floor. Drivers seat is power passenger manual. The car is solid and could be painted but my friend and others all kind of started liking the way it looked from 90 years of age so I did not paint it. Has carpet and covered doors and dash. Has 16 inch wheels with 245 70 on them all season radials new tires. Has steel spare wheel with taz cover on back. Car sells as is has had custom work and could not be put back original without a lot of work but most all of the original mounts and things are still there so if you find original bumpers, lights, dash and so on they could be put on. Car was body and frame solid so turned into hot rod verses original was missing many original little things way to hard to find and when I found them way to expensive for what an all original car will sell for. Hot rods are more fun anyway. Can answer questions or send more pics if you want. Car is sold as is no warranty this is custom hot/rat rod. . Buyer is responsible for picking it up and shipping or moving to your location and all expenses to do so or all related transportation expenses.
