Vehicle description
This vehicle has been my daily driver for the last five years. It was purchased as a part of a Certified Pre-Owned program at a Volkswagen dealership in North Carolina with under 12,000 miles. Most of the miles since were from driving to and from work in Western North Carolina. During the last two years in Texas, it has stayed parked mostly since the pandemic.
I"ve made various changes to the exterior to have the aesthetic of the Golf R line. I"ve upgraded the rims and have relatively new Continental tires. I changed out the headlights from stock. I"ve added pieces of trim to various parts of the vehicle. There is a hitch from U-Haul for a small trailer or bike rack. I"ve recently had clear coat applied to the headlights. A few months ago, I clay bared the paint and applied sealant and wax which will last longer than waxing by itself. There is wiring pre-installed for an amp and subwoofer that I had previously. There is light curb rash on one of the rims.
I"d originally planned to do so, but no internal modifications to the mechanics of the vehicle have been performed yet. It"s ready for a tune and turbo to be dropped in. I have kept, maintained a full digitized service record of all the oil changes, tire rotations, history report, etc. It was in one literal fender bender while driving through downtown Atlanta. It originally damaged the headlight and passenger side fender above the right tire. I brought it to a Certified Volkswagen repair center in South Austin (Caliber Collision) to make sure that the paint matched instead of trying to find the part elsewhere.
This month I cleaned, scrubbed every square inch of the interior. The only way for this car to be better maintained or cleaner is if it was brand new from the factory. I have more pictures. There is a bunch of car-care supplies I"ve used to maintain it that you can have with the vehicle if you want. I prefer a cashier"s check first or the Escrow.com service. That"s all I can think of. If you have any questions please let me know!
