TEXAS BARNFIND 1978 BIG 10 CHEVY C10 1 OWNER ALL ORIGINAL ZERO RUST/PERFECT PATINA "NO RESERVE" What you are looking at here is a all original 1978 Chevy Silverado BIG 10 C10. I purchased this truck a few months back out of FT. Worth Texas. I purchased from the originals owners family and the truck had been sitting since the mid-90"s under a carport. This truck besides the slight damage on the drivers front fender and drivers side rear quarter is straight as a board, the panels line up perfect and the doors will shut with two fingers(truck is super tight). The truck has zero ate through rust just perfect patina. All the trim is there and in good shape ( side trim, tailgate bezel etc.) and the grille and such is perfect. The interior is in real good shape, vent widows open and seal on both sides and both windows roll down with ease, all the glass is good besides the crack in front windshield. Now onto the drive-train. She is equipped with a 350/350 12 bolt, being she sat so long I drained the gas, put a new battery and within 30 seconds she fired up ran strong, I drove for a short distance and the front brakes are toast, but the truck shifted out flawlessly. I purchased this truck to a frame off long bed/ slammed C10 but have too many projects. I have built a ton of short beds over the last 25 years and this truck is the second truck I have ever started with that is this straight solid and tight. I know a lot of folks are after the short beds but see the last picture of the LWB C10 in this ad and tell me what people are over looking on these trucks, and in my opinion this Chevy light blue code 20 and Hawaiian Blue code 23 is to die for. If someone wanted to do a cheaper build they could slam/rims and go with the patina look also with a small amount of body work.
