Vehicle description
I"m selling my 1973 Datsun 240z. I have owned the car for about 6 years. It has been great, but I need to free up some space in my garage and I"m not driving it that much lately :( It runs and drives great. I have replaced the radiator, as well as all of the heater hoses and the heater control valve in the past couple of years. It has electronic ignition and I have installed a headlight relay to take the load off of the switch. The master and slave cylinders were replaced in the past couple of years. The seats in the car when I bought it were trash, so I installed some Mazda Miata seats. I think you"ll agree they fit and look amazing. They have the speakers in the headrest, so you could hook that up if you wanted. The emissions piping has all been removed and the car has the desirable round-top carbs. New wheels and BFG tires. It also has the more stylish bumpers of the early model 240"s.
There is a crack in the windshield on the passenger side that has been there since I purchased it and there was/is cracking in the paint where a bolt attaches the spoiler to the car. I used some silicone to stop it from spreading.
The car is not concourse perfect, I do and did drive it and enjoy it, that"s what you"re supposed to do with these cool old cars. But, it is an excellent, well running car, worthy of a good home.
