. . my name is Tom I am a licensed mechanic and PA diesel truck dealer with experience going back to the early 1970"s. For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me. .
it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I"d put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I"m an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down. .
I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3"s trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast.
A few things to know before bidding or becoming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price low for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to buy it now we might deal to the right buyer, the right buyer to me does his or her homework and knows the market price on these old diesels, is easy to deal with and has there expectations in line, what I"m not looking for is people shooting lowball prices, bringing a magnifying glass to scrutinize a 15-20 year old work truck, if you need new I do not sell that they are tens of thousands of dollars more money and don"t last long at all go to the new dealer if that is the case. But if your serious about buying a nice older diesel and are good to get along with that is me as well I will make you a sweet deal, stop down if you can. I also do airport pickup at Harrisburg International, return 1 way rentals, shipping, have on call hours 7 days a week and I am a bonded tag agent and issue temp tags/title transfer on the spot at my office, I also do long or short deliverys and have on call hours 7 days a week from 9-9 east time. 717 991 0568

Hello diesel fans,,,,Diesel Tom here, and as you can tell just by the price this is NOT one of my rustfree texas trucks but what it is perfect for any buyer out there who either cant afford 15-20 grand for one of my rustfree ones or can afford it but your too smart to invest that kind of moola into something your taking into the field to beat up if your a farmer, or to hook a plow on if your a plow guy, or construction or whatever, or hey maybe you do bodywork a few days in your shop shoot some paint on get 10995.00 its what I planned but got 15 more to work on first, my loss your gain on a first come basis. . Let me tell you what I know
2000 Ford F250XLT 4WD CREW 4WD Shortie 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel Superduty, Customer drove it in for trade in from Nebraska a few months ago,. The 7.3 engine is flawless fires right up, installed 2 new interstate batteries, no leaks or blow by runs real strong, tranny shifts good 4x4 works good, I did brakes and front end work on it myself runs tight and stopps good, rubber is 80% on 3 and 50% on 1,
Interior looks good no big issues, outside paint is getting thin all around but acceptable for year and price, overall pretty solid like the frame(only minor surface rust) good cab mounts and body mounts, the bed is excellent shape probably replaced with a texas bed cross mount rails very good(see pick) I also have found a white factory tailgate in good shape at my salvage yard if you need that we can send you over for an extra cost.
The rocker panels are rusted as well as the cab corners, but very fixable trust me not much needed to become a first class 7.3, miles are 202K original, have clean title in hand ready to transfer,
we do tag and title work on site. Quick note I just sold a complete built 7.3 motor only on ebay for 6 grand about a month ago, your getting a complete running truck for that so lets keep things real guys, and if your hunting a mint 7.3 I"ll put some on later this month prices on them start at 15 grand and go up, keep checking back on my ebay for details.
