FOR SALE 1972 DATSUN 240Z
I own this car for 5 years, it is time to free some space on my collection. Really nice car, easy to drive, strong, raw, clean, dry, a good car all around. Number matching car, with 4 speed manual transmission. the car is all stock besides a electronic ignition and eibach coils (lowered the car 1 inch).
The car is originally from Washington, and it has been garage and well taken care. There is no rust or damage on the car. Right now the car is in Vancouver BC, but i still have the Washington plates and the Washington original title; i can deliver the car to Blaine Washington for the American buyers. I also have the British Columbia registration (title) for Canadian buyers.
The car was professionally painted with original color 110 persimmon red/orange, it is very bright and beautiful executed. There are no scratches or dents on the car. Windows were removed at the time it was painted. All the weatherstrips and gaskets were changed at that point. floors are very solid and original,spare tire is the original too.
Interior was refurnished with new carpet, vinyl seats are original, and new interior sills scuffs. All the lights and electronics are fully functional. Turn signals are a bit slow but work as they should. Radio antenna goes up and down easily.
Fuel tank was removed, sent to a radiator shop were it was cleaned and sealed inside. All the hoses associated with the tank were changed for fresh OEM hoses.
Suspension was refreshed, front bushings, links,tie rods, ball joints all new. Rear brake cylinders are new, shoes, brake lines are also new. New calipers, disc and pads were installed on the front as well.
Clutch is 2 years old, but only around 8000 miles. i have drove this car aprox 15000 miles and it is a great car, lots of power and plenty response. all stock besides the electronic ignition and coils. the only known issue, is the radio losses sounds once in a while, but it really does not bother me to hear the nice tone of the exhaust.
Carbs were sync in July by a SU specialist in Vancouver, at the same time it has fresh oil, filters, and belt. that being said, i have tons of receipts for the car.
The car is Located in Vancouver BC, but i am willing to deliver to Blaine WA or any other city close by. Inspections and test drives are welcome before bidding. I can assist in shipping to USA, Canada, Europe, Australia or anywhere this car is legal.
$500 deposit between 24 hrs, the balance by wire transfer or cash.
