RELISTING DUE TO A NON-PAYING BIDDER. THIS WILL BE THE LAST LISTING FOR THE YEAR WITH VERY LOW STARTING BID! SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY, PLEASE. Rare 1957 Beemer originally made in Flint Michigan. Awesome tin can example! Not restored, but in fantastic condition for 61 years old! Exterior has some normal dents and scratches. Left side looks like some hail damage and one large scrape. I polished it about 12-13 years ago and it looked pretty awesome. But it has been kept outside and has faded tarnished again. Some of the painted stripe has begun to peel a bit in places-see pics. The interior had some leaks already when I bought it but nothing horrible that, to me, warranted tearing out the original birch interior. I refinished the table (with 4 coats of poly, steel wool smoothed in between coats), the 2 closet doors and the 2 cabinet doors under the sink. Also, refinished the screen door and put copper screening in it. I"ll try to include better photos of the door. Other than that the birch is all original finish. We put new foam on the beds, the coach has the original cushions, covered with another material. All windows and exterior door are original and work like they should, complete with screens. Electrical system all works on 110 plug in and 12v converter for some plug ins. I didn"t fool with that. (Pics)
I installed an HD tv into the top cabinet that travels fine with the sliding door closed (see pics) I used an antenna on a pvc pipe outside for great signals and looks pretty cool too! Coax cable connections is by the yellow clearance light on the passenger side.

Added information asked for: Length is 14" at the box, 16" at the hitch coupler. Weight is 2540 lbs .
It does have a clean water holding tank, but we never used it or had a need for it. My wife is more of a clamper. I was told that it needed a new pump. I do not believe that is has a grey water tank. It does have the original Panelray propane heater, that was reconditioned and worked great. I used it two times back 10 or more years ago, but my wife was too scared of the propane so we always used an electric heater even in the dead of winter and it kept it plenty warm. The original Dixie stove looks and worked great back then too. Again, clampers like my wife won"t cook in the trailer :-)
I installed a window air conditioner in the spot where there may have been an icebox of some sort. It has a box around it and is vented out the side. We then put a mini fridge on top of that as you can see in the pics. The AC worked fine 3 summers ago, but honestly does not cool off the trailer well when a strong hot sun is hitting the aluminum. The frames is straight and solid, springs are good and it pulls easy.
This camper gets a ton of attention at the campgrounds. People will ask you constantly if they can look inside and always amazed that is an unrestored 1957. How many Beemers have you seen around?
Please don"t ask what my reserve is. If you"re seriously interested, bid. I may lower it and just except the highest bidder. If you are familiar with Tin Can trailers, you know what the price range is. We are just not using the camper anymore and it deserves a good home with someone to use it.
