KUSTOM: Metal Fab and Kustom work done by Frank DeRosa and Son in Pittsburg, CA. 4" chop, 1957 Studebaker fins, HOK Pagan Gold, Everything is Kustom. On airbags. Motor rebuilt 3 years ago with about 1,700 miles on the rebuild (LA 2x and local driving).700R Automatic Transmission. Walk-around and startup video available. This Kustom is a driver, google it!
To answer some common questions:
Mechanically the car is a 9. Items that need attention are; horn, side windows, speedo and gas gauge (water and oil pressure gauges are in the glove box. Also the air bags have old valve setup that could be modernized, but I like that. Rebuilt motor only has 1,700 miles. the car can drive anywhere at anytime.
Cosmetically the car is an 9. No issues with the interior all. The paint, scallops and pin striping look great but the car has 2 small cracks at the rear window and a few small chips around the car. In the video I show them. these can be touched up and are not noticeable to the normal eye, but I know every inch of it. The car has been driven all over California over the last 16 years, including a few years in primer. Awards from every show GNRS, Sacramento Autorama, Paso, Santa Maria and everything in between. Paint and interior done in 2007.
