Vehicle description
1992 Mercedes-Benz SWB 300GD w463 OM603.931 engine, inline-6 diesel, manual transmission, short wheelbase arctic white exterior paint, grey/blue cloth upholstery, black carpets VIN# WDB46332717083255
Excellent, well-maintained, stock, low-mileage, and extremely rare. Clean title, no accidents.
I"m the 2nd owner and imported the vehicle from Germany in 2017, compliant with all US Customs, DOT, EPA, etc. requirements. Please note that per EBay instructions, the VIN number is listed with all 0s in the Ebay listing because it is was manufactured in Germany for sale outside the USA. However, the VIN # (WDB46332717083255) is a valid, non-US VIN.
The first owner cared for the vehicle incredibly well, and I have the original service booklet showing stamped, regular service intervals.
I also have detailed service and maintenance records during my ownership (all OEM parts). In addition to all the typical, regular fluid/filter/grease services, some of the larger, recent service work includes:
- new clutch master/slave cylinder (2021) - new front/rear shocks (2020) - new tires, all wheels (2020) - new radiator, water pump, thermostat, glow plugs, diesel injectors, fuel delivery valve rings, etc. (late 2019) excellent, spec compression last measured at this time with good spray pattern, pop pressure, lapped surfaces, etc. - new front brake calipers/pads/hoses, new rear drum shoes, rear drums resurfaced (2018) - new fuel line from tank to engine (2018) - rebuilt alternator (2018)
The exterior paint has a few, small, typical paint chip blemishes, but is otherwise in very good condition with no cloudiness in the clear coat. The interior carpets, seat upholstery, headliner, etc. are also in excellent condition with minor wear points on the left edges of the driver and passenger seats. The stock Becker radio and speakers work perfectly. I can provide a more detailed walkaround for interested parties, with close-ups of any areas.
I"m happy to answer any questions about the locking diffs, dimensions, horsepower/torque, fuel economy, etc., but I assume if you"re an interested buyer, you are most likely already aware of the unique features and specs of this vehicle. :-)
Thank you!
