Vehicle description

Listed is a 1996 Volvo 850r Wagon. I"m the second owners of the car and have taken excellent car of it. The car drives amazing. I wouldn"t be selling this car if I didn"t have to but unfortunately I won"t have space at the new place.
I have service records from the time that I"ve owned it and from the first owner. Simple maintenance things such as brake pads, calipers, rotors, oil changes, spark plugs, ect I did myself but everything else was either done at a certified Volvo dealership or by a trusted local mechanic.
A few things that need to be repaired on the car:
* It will need a new windshield, it"s currently cracked because of a rust bubble under the seal. A photo of this is in the listing.
* The timing belt will also need to be replaced, it was last done ~100k miles ago.
* There is a large rust spot under the driver side door but it"s nothing structural. From what I can tell it"s a protective shielding. I"ve sealed up the holes with expanding foam to prevent water from entering. This is also pictured in the listing.
* The power mirror on the left side does not work.
* The blinker does not reset after you use it, you"ll need to manually turn it off.
* The car does use some oil.
* The sunroof works but I"ve had some difficulties closing it. The seal will also need to be replaced.
* The headliner is sagging and will need to be replaced.
* There are a few more minor rust spots on the exterior of the car. I"ve covered them with grease to try to prevent further rusting. Nothing serious though. * The A/C will need to be fixed. It currently does not work.
The transmission was replaced awhile back so it doesn"t have as many miles as the odometer shows.
The car comes with the original head lights, 4 winter tires and the rim to the full sized spare. However, you"ll need to buy a tire for the spare. We"re currently using one of the winter tire in it"s place.
All in all, the car drives great! Sad to let it go but I hope the next owner has as much fun with it as I did. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
