Vehicle description
1 owner VW jetta wolfsburg edition. Vehicle has been my daily commuter since purchasing new in 2007. 85% of mileage has been highway. Car still averages 31-32mpg. Has newer tires with plenty of tread left, and purchased through discount tire which I have road hazard protection on. I have rubber floor mats, rear trunk mat and a set of carpet floor mats which will be included.
Mechanically the car is fine and I still drive it. Air conditioning works well on highway, not the best in traffic. Has lots of options for a 2007 including sunroof, heated seats, side mirror defrost, headphone jack to play music through factory radio. As with any car this age there are some issues.
-Windshield has a crack 75% across it (just didn"t want to fork over $ to fix)
-Previously had sunroof leak which has been repaired, however some of the interior trim was affected, and has been rewrapped by myself.
-Missing interior pieces at b-posts and rear posts (due to above).
-Sunroof can open using manual override but there is an alignment issue with the motor. Mechanically the sunroof is fine, would just need someone to adjust it so it can work as it was when I purchased.
-One of my wheels has some deep scratches in it from hitting an item in the road, not cracked or warped.
I have a set of front brake pads that I never installed, and will be included.
Additionally I have a low mileage motor that will be provided as well (pics included). It has been in a carport or garage since I purchased 3 yrs ago. The extra motor I am providing is the rationale for the price.
Oil is changed religiously (by me) every 5000 miles with Mann filter and shell rotella 5w 40 synthetic, because it is much cheaper than mobil 1
