Up for bid, one vintage VW Beetle race car. Just bought from the original builder who is unsure of the exact year but told me the car is from the 60"s. Was built in the late 70"s and was raced at Islip Long Island and New Egypt NJ. Has rust in the floor pan and cracked body work in the body. Front and rear window channels are okay. Has the original front suspension, trans axel and fabricated roll cage and HURST SHIFTER. Missing the engine. Has seen many years of outside storage. Would be neat to bring back to life. NO TITLE. No warranty, for sale as is. Buyer is responsible for pick up which is expected within two weeks of auctions end. Payment is expected within three days of auctions end.
