Vehicle Details Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. A rare find. I bought this car off of ebay in 2006. I have replaced the engine, running boards, the chrome around the headlights, windshield, hubcaps, battery, some of the interior knobs and handles, recently changed the air filter and replace all of the breaks just last year. I also replaced the generator with an alternator. The car has only been driven on nice days and is stored inside all winter. The car starts right up in the spring after sitting all winter. It does not have a backseat. The headliner needs to be replaced; I have a new one that will come with the car - just haven't been able to find someone willing to do it. Whoever owned the car before me, replaced the carpet - they did an ok job. They also painted the car with silver paint which is nice looking, although some areas could use touch up - the original color of the car was light blue. This would be a great project for someone who knows how to work on these cars, that person isn't me and it's hard to find someone who will. I've enjoyed my time with this car, but it's time to pass it on, got MANY compliments on it throughout the years. Images Download the Motors app
