Vehicle description
Up for sale is a used 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS. The vehicle is offered in as-is condition and there is no warranty offered. This vehicle has spent it"s entire life in Illinois. I am the second owner. It was purchased as a project but I have been transferred and must sell. The vehicle starts right up, shifts well and I drove it home. It has Borla exhaust and sounds great. The working radio has been upgraded with an aftermarket tuner CD player.
The vehicle has 180,000 plus miles on it but the original owner had taken good care of it performing maintenance when needed and recently completed a front suspension overhaul. I"m not trying to mislead anyone here. The vehicle has some problems. The brake system and ABS lights are illuminated due to a leaking line between the ABS module and the rear wheels. The airbag light is illuminated and the previous owner indicated he broke the abs coil on the top of the steering column during the front suspension repair. Seating surfaces are worn out and split open as you can see in the pictures. There is physical damage to the interior front door panels. The car has rust through in both rear lower quarter panels and some other areas of the car.
The vehicle comes with a set of 5 steel wheels with good rubber. There is also a set of 5 aluminum wheels with 2 good tires and 3 worn out tires. There are lots of extra parts included: New front bumper fascia, New rear bumper fascia, New right front fender. There are also two totes and many boxes of additional parts - to many to list them all - motor mounts, shocks, rear suspension springs, gaskets, trim items, engine items and more.
I"ve tried to provide pictures to depict the actual condition. As I said there is rust on several horizontal surfaces. I feel the vehicle would be road worthy once the brake line is repaired. It could be driven onto a tow dolly or trailer for transport but would not recommend driving it on the road until at least the brake line repair has been completed.
Feel free to ask questions. I"m just trying to get out of it what I have into it. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
