Vehicle description
2004 Mercedes-Benz ML350 - i purchased this vehicle about a year and half ago here on at 200k miles. I am a former military aircraft mechanic - Anyone familiar with aircraft maintenance know that airplane parts are always replaced PRIOR to their failure at regular service intervals and cutting NO corners while completing the work. With that in mind - i spent a substantial amount of Covid shutdown times upgrading and replacing a vast majority of critical parts - below is a list: - NEW front and rear suspension - New radiator & coolant hoses - 12 new spark plugs, spark plug wires and ignition coils(this vehicle has 2 of each per cylinder) - 6 new fuel injectors and fuel filter - Complete exhaust system replacement including catalytic converter, muffler and both oxygen sensors (already passed PA emissions) - Vehicle wide fluid replacements incl – 1. Engine oil change 2. transmission oil change 3. Transfer case, front &rear differential fluid change 4. Engine coolant flush & replacement 5. A/C refrigerant replacement 6. Brake fluid flush and replacement 7. Power steering fluid change - valve cover seal replacement - Brake power booster replacement - new brake pads and rotors - New engine air intake manifold, sensors and filters - EGR valve replacement (still needs computer diagnostic reset/repair but new valve is in place and operational) - Cabin air filters replacement and new wiper blades - New serpentine belt and fan clutch replacement - new headlights - 4 new Michelin all season tires ($250 per tire) - New Battery - Radio replacement with android operated touchscreen and addition of back up cam (wiring and parts installed, still needs final trim details) There are 2 remaining repairs than still need completion (brake booster recalibration and power steering pump replacement) and then despite its mileage id confidently take this vehicle on a cross country road trip. Earlier this year I drove it from Pitt – NY – DC – Pitt and it performed like a new car! I put in close to $7,000 of new parts alone into this vehicle not including labor (I did it myself) probably a 15k+ job at a local garage. Will sell as-is at a discount to list price, or for a committed local buyer that is willing to put down a deposit, I will complete the remaining items prior to handover. Feel free to ask any questions!
