Selling my 2008 Saab 9-7x Aero, one of 442 Aero models made that year and one of only 554 total production from 2008 – 2009. This is a rare vehicle to begin with, and getting rarer every day. This is essentially a Chevrolet Trailblazer SS with much nicer looking Saab front sheet metal, a far nicer leather interior and all luxury appointments. The 9-7x Aero came standard with an LS-2 Corvette engine, rated at 390 hp, all-wheel drive, and just about every option available at that time.
I’ve owned this for just about a year and have driven it about 1500 miles during that time. For me, it was an impulse buy and my first vehicle with an LS engine. I didn’t need it when I bought it, but I fell in love with it at first sight and I"ll never regret it. It’s been well maintained mechanically and has no issues, codes or warning lights. Great oil pressure. Ready to drive home anywhere in the country! Original radio/navigation was replaced with a very nice Kenwood Blue-tooth sound/navigation system with backup camera. Other than the radio, vehicle is completely bone stock. Everything works, as it should. Previous owner replaced brakes and tires shortly before I bought it, spark plugs just changed a few weeks ago. Body is in very good shape, with very few minor dings/scratches. At some point during its life it was lightly tapped in the rear, which was repaired, as evidenced by the repainted rear bumper cover. Interior is perfect. A previous owner installed a Trailblazer SS dash cluster in it, which is better looking, in my opinion, than the original cluster. Odometer mileage reads just under 125K, but actual mileage is likely higher due to change in the cluster. I also have the original dash cluster to go with the car.
With its Corvette heart, this vehicle is an absolute beast and a thrill to drive! Unbelievable acceleration, along with great handling for an SUV and an incredibly smooth ride. Not that it should matter with a performance vehicle like this, but I’ve achieved a consistent 17-18 mpg on lengthy highway trips with it. These vehicles should only be owned by people who will care for them, appreciate them and drive them.
