“The Condition: Excellent This Porsche has only 22,000 miles and the car’s pristine condition is reflected in that fact. Aside from a few very minor rock chips on the front clip the all Original Paint is perfect! The interior is perfect except for a broken passenger sun-visor vanity-mirror cover and a wrinkle in the top fabric on the inside back passenger side. I installed new Michelin X rated tires last year and they have 90% of the tread remaining. I have all the maintenance records from day one and the original delivery paperwork, Monroney label (photo included) ect.... Everything operates as intended with plenty of power coupled with a 6 speed will give you a permanent grin every time you drive it. If 415 HP and equal torque is not enough you can bump the power another 100 ponies for under 2K!” |

Vehicle description
The Machine: Thrilling The 996 was Porsche"s first water cooled 911 and this example was made the last year Porsche produced the 996 of a 4 year run. This special Porsche has everything you want in a sports car with many options that pushed the MSRP to $145,235 (photo). With only 3099 produced and being the last year of the first water cooled Porsche’s prices on 996’s are escalating with room to run. Hemings values a concourse 996 at $71,400 and while the car has the normal wear of a 22,000 mile car it’s not far from that standard.
I bought the car from the original owner 3 years ago with just 9,000 miles (photo). The first owner had opened a new office in DC and it didn’t take him long to discover that the car was not intended for bumper to bumper traffic. As a result the car came out of the garage to drive to their home in the country. With the Porsche hard-top on it’s nearly indistinguishable from the beautiful lines of a sleek factory coupe. It has the optional carbon fiber dash accents and CD player and changer under the front bonnet. Also included is a wind defuser, Porsche “996 Turbo" car cover and 3/piece Porsche luggage set. Clean Florida title in hand.
Most of the miles were driven on the thrilling winding roads of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia but now that we are spending most of our time in Florida we need find a new home for the Porsche. This machine was not meant to be a garage queen; it’s time for this Porsche to stretch it’s legs again and find more great roads!
