The rarest and most desirable of the 2003-2004 Mercury Marauders, the one and only 2003 SEMA Marauder, CAN BE YOURS!
Featuring the highly coveted SVT Designed & Built Body Kit - Including front, rear, and side ground effects that give this Marauder the menacing look it deserves. These body kits never went into production!
Under the hood is a 4.6L DOHC 32-Valve V8 with a fully-polished Eaton M112 Intercooled Trilogy Supercharger and 3.0" Pulley feeding approximately 10 PSI of boost. Fuel is delivered with 39 Lb. fuel injectors and the engine breathes out of a fully stainless steel, mandrel bent exhaust system, consisting of Stainless Works long tube headers, X-Pipe, and Cat-Back for the ultimate in flow and durability. Air is fed through the engine by way of a JLT Cold Air Intake & Conical Filter.
Suspension is dialed-in with simultaneous compression and rebound adjustable QA1 suspension in all four corners, fully adjustable height, Metco upper & lower rear control arms, Metco watts link, and Addco front and rear anti-sway bars with polyurethane bushings for robust handling. Even with all of the suspension upgrades, this Marauder is still smooth to cruise around town thanks to the adjustable QA1 shocks. 18 adjustable valving options are available with the twist of a knob on each shock, whether you"re driving your significant other around or if you"re having some spirited enjoyment, you pick what you want!
All of this power is transferred from the 4R70W transmission to a Dynotech driveshaft and relayed through a Detroit Locker Differential, 31-Spline Moser Axles, to custom widened rear rims that are wrapped in 305/45/18 Nitto NT555R Drag Radials. The front tires are 255/45/18 Nitto NT555"s. All tires were replaced less than 700 miles ago. Since the Eaton M112 Supercharger generates more torque than you"ll ever need, factory 3.55:1 rear end gears were retained for the best highway cruising and all around performance. This means no rear end howl from aftermarket gears like so many performance vehicles!
When you need to stop fast, look no further than the Baer Big Brake Kit with 14" cross-drilled & slotted front rotors for upgraded braking power. Front pads and rotors have less than 700 miles on them.
The stereo system has been upgraded with a Pioneer head unit that is Bluetooth compatible so you can answer calls and play your favorite music right from your smartphone. The factory subwoofer and Six Disc CD Changer are still equipped. Important engine diagnostics are delivered by way of the Autometer Boost, Fuel Pressure, and Oil Pressure gauges mounted in the center console gauge pod.
Sale Includes : This rare Marauder plus the front two-piece fascia as pictured, however, it is not attached. The original owner, who I purchased it from and has owned it since the very beginning, said that the second piece was detached because it was too low to drive with. It does have some small scrapes on it from it being used way back when. I have never attached it and I do not have the hardware to attach it but it doesn"t look difficult to figure out. Some brand new OEM parts: These parts include a brand new OEM driver side exterior mirror, a brand new OEM front driver window switch panel, and most importantly brand new OEM belt line/window trim moldings as the exterior rubber moldings begin to bubble after several years. This way you can keep the most famous Marauder looking as special as it deserves to look for a very long time! A handheld SCT Tuner and black badge-less grille are also included for a meaner look. Provenance! E-mails to/from Ford/SVT Engineers discussing this exact Marauder are in a folder in the trunk. Pictures of the car at various events in Marauder history can be included on a USB drive.
