Never raced, tracked or auto crossed. 2nd Owner, I"ve had it about 12 years Jackson Racing Supercharger installed 3/2010 Moss Powercard fuel management The crimp on taps that come with the Powercard are junk. I bought an AEM ECU extension harness, and wired the Powercard into that. The Powercard connections are soldered and heat shrink insulated into the extension harness. Powercard now plugs in, and it"s dead solid & reliable. No original wires in the car were cut. Lightweight Flyin Miata 10.3lb flywheel Flyin Miata Level 2 Clutch Kit KYB AGX shocks Top Loc hard top locks 15" Konig Rewind wheels with plus 1 sized tires Also has set of 16" factory wheels in excellent condition with rubber Enthusa Dual exhaust (cat-back) Trackdog Racing exhaust header heat shield. Moss Chrome fuel door Nardi Wood steering wheel, wood e-brake & wood shift knob (from 2001 SE) LED High Beam lamps DDM Works Cold air intake for JR supercharger setup. Ceramic Coating late summer 2018 Factory radio removed & JVC single DIN stereo installed. Door speakers replaced (Bose removed) Pro-fit VSM (Vehicle Specific Mount) installed for cellphone holder
The bad: Hood has been replaced with a steel hood, due to grandma backing into it. Front air dam has some damaged paint from some road debris. A tiny scratch from a mishap putting the hard top on.
This is an extremely nice, well-sorted car. There have been no hacks, silly boy-racer stuff, or other nonsense done to it. It"s VERY clean and rust free, inside, outside and underneath. It looks, runs, sounds and drives fantastic.
Due to my personal situation, this car has had very little use in the last couple of years. I last had it out of the garage in July of 2019 because I had to take it for the Maryland emissions test (passed it).
This an LS, so it has leather seats, canvas top, factory 16" wheels, limited slip differential, and body side moldings.
The Jackson Racing Supercharger set up was supplied by Moss Motors, and is trouble free. These cars should have come from the factory like this. What a pleasure to drive! Be aware that you must run 93 octane gasoline!
This has never been a daily driver, always been garage kept, never seen a salted road, and has just generally been babied. Regular oil changes, with Mobil One full synthetic 0W-30, and good quality oil filters, such as Napa Gold 1365, or Mobil 1 M1-108.
The car comes with two sets of wheels: the Konig Rewinds shown in the pictures, and the factory 16" wheels, which are in excellent condition, and also have good tires on them.
The soft top is the factory canvas top, color matched to the interior. It"s been several years since I had the hard top off the car. The soft top was, and should still be, in very good condition. The rear window is glass, and has a defroster.
The factory tonneau cover for the soft top, included with the car, matches the interior.
There is a factory Nardi Wood steering wheel, shift knob and e-brake handle installed. They came from a 2001 SE. The original wheel, knob and handle come with the car. The shift knob shows a 6 speed pattern, but the car is a 5 speed.
The hard top is an OEM Mazda top, which I had painted to match the car. It has all the factory latch hardware, and is equipped with a set of Top-Locs to prevent theft of the hardtop. The hard top has a working defroster as well.
In 2018, the car was professionally detailed, paint corrected and ceramic coated.
The car will come with all the original parts - everything from the supercharger installation, the original steering wheel, e-brake handle and shift knob, fuel door, original flywheel, and the OEM radio and speakers.
Inspection : You or your agent are welcome to inspect the vehicle on my premises.
Shipping : You are responsible for shipping. Please remember that the car comes with a second set of wheels/tires and two large boxes of parts.
NOTE : This vehicle has been sitting unused for several years. You should expect to perform routine maintenance and check out before putting vehicle back into service. The last oil change was performed in May, 2018. The mileage on the car at that time was 72739.
Vehicle will not be released until my bank verifies that funds are cleared.
