Vehicle description
This car has recently developed rod knock, on a hot day it started knocking and when I checked the oil it was pretty dry. Drained it and found flakes and bits, most likely only needs a short block. If you"re good with working on these things then it would be a great deal for you since it is a great daily/ winter beater! 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Special Edition, Currently at 162k miles
This vehicle has the 2.5L Subaru boxer engine rated at 175hp paired with a 5speed manual transmission. It is a well taken care of with an extensive list of service done to it. No accidents, no issues with it at all. I am not in a hurry to sell, I love driving this car and trust it to drive anywhere. It is an extremely reliable car and unbelievably good on gas. Yes, it has a newer clutch and the water pump / timing / head gaskets are all been performed recently.
As like any other 10+ year old car, this car has its flaws. It does have the well-known quarter panel rust (will be pictured) and the body isn’t in the best shape. I’d give it a 6/10. Has some rust under the doors. The driver door was repainted and the clear coat was not finished properly, but it is barely noticeable. There are some rock chips in the front of the car, and some dents / scratches here and there. Interior wise there is absolutely nothing wrong, no rips, no sagging headliner or anything like that. It is definitely a 9.5/10
The price is negotiable, but not by a far shot. I may entertain trades with cash, depending on what kind of a deal it is.
