Consider, I paid $14,750 in 2002 when I brought this gorgeous XJS to Michigan from Southern California (always stored winters!). I have made numerous improvements to this beauty to put her in pristine appearance, mechanical and electrical condition.
This Jaguar XJS has beautiful Jaguar Satin Beige metallic paint with a chocolate brown convertible top (replaced with new top and rubber seals). The car has been garage stored its entire life and it shows! The clear coat is perfect without flaw. I own $500 worth of car polishing equipment. The paint is show car perfect! Not a single scratch, dent or ding. Look into the paint and view the clouds. The tan leather is fantastic and spotless. Originally, a SoCal car. Under my 18 year ownership in Michigan it was stored each winter in a heated car storage facility covered by a custom made flannel car cover(flannel cover included with sale).This Gem is totally rust free and spotless inside and out. The car has been treated with love it shows! Carpet is stain free and perfect. Checkout the custom made Burl Walnut Steering wheel for added class to round out the Burl Walnut trim. The chrome and rubber are perfect.
The car runs like it should. No engine or transmission issues. Drives like a luxury dream car should. Fuel injectors have been professionally ultrasonically cleaned and fuel hose replaced. Also, I replaced the fuel injection wiring harness as it was somewhat brittle for good measure. Very important as high heat from V12 in engine bay tends to harden fuel lines and wire harness and could be cause of possible engine fire.It has been known to happen in very low priced inexpensive improperly maintained V12s. With the former described maintenance, replacement of radiator and upgrade to modern dual electrical fans engine fires and overheating are risks you need not worry about, as at my cost, I have attended to such critical maintenance for you.
Undoubtedly, there is not another XJS for sale on ebay that is as well maintained. I believe my car is far better maintained than others with half the mileage.It also looks new car like in appearance, as can be seen from the many pictures provided. Comes with all dealer provided original purchase manuals, an official Jaguar repair Manuel I purchased, Dealership original purchase invoice, and all repair records .I have the original owners records and my own. You will have repair history from day one. You know how few vehicles come with that knowledge.
The car is near flawless in overall condition. I wont say flawless because there is a extremely small amount of oil seeping at the pan gasket and she is due for mufflers. Leaks maybe four drops per month. That said, I have replaced many engine seals and gaskets in effort to make the car otherwise leak free, rare for a Jaguar V12. I have changed the oil every 3 months with Mobil 1 full- synthetic. Ask other sellers about oil leaks and watch them squirm and lie. My XJS engine bay is spotless.Lastly, the cruise control does not work and probably does not work in most any other XJS. It is a common problem. I never would have interest in using such a thing in a fun to drive car and thus never thought to repair it. I am a perfectionist who planned to keep this luxury grand touring convertible for life, however, my circumstances have changed and now reluctantly, I am forced to sell having suffered a stroke and wife wanting to down size to smaller home lacking enough garage space for my various cars.
