1980 Porsche 911SC Coupe
Here for your consideration is a remarkable 1980 911 SC with 68,500 original miles, a great story & ownership history. Purchased new on May 2 1980 in San Diego California at Alan Johnson Racing. It’s first owner was reportedly an ex-model wife of an infamous narcos. In her ride of choice she was often seen flying down the Coast Highway in her sexy black SC. The couples ultimate demise was front page news in the San Diego Union Tribune, along with her Porsche of course! All this leads to a very anticipated DEA/DOJ auction on July 20 1990. This is where it found it’s next caretaker for the next 31+ years.
Since the purchase this SC has traveled less than 33,500 miles. All documented with unreal service records. It still wears @80% of its original black paint. Lowered to European specs, European H4 lighting, three piece 16” custom Fuch 7” & 9” forged alloy wheels (built with factory 16x6 centers). Stamped warranty book & owners manual. The interior is untouched full black leather, smells & looks fantastic as a 68K mile car should. The sport seats alone are worth getting exited about & are in spectacular condition(one of the latest G body cars I have seen with early recline mechanisms).
