Vehicle Details 1947 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL COUPE; The VIN number on tag and title is 5EH57593. The frame is stamped on the driver side of the engine with 7H158418. The title is cleared. This car was purchased in 2014 for the purpose of utilizing its parts to restore a 1947 Lincoln Continental coupe and a 1948 Lincoln convertible. The car had its original V12 replaced by a 1951 Cadillac V8 engine. It had a Lincoln 3 speed manual transmission and was fully complete.I am offering what is left of the car for auction in the condition as described herein and as shown on the pictures. The body has no dent, and the original paint is still on, but is badly cracking. Underneath the paint, the steel body can be seen for the most part in good condition. There are some rusts through holes in the driver and passenger floors, in the trunk floor, and in the driver side door and bottom fender. The axles, propeller shaft, U-joint, suspension springs, shock absorbers, steering gear, hood springs, brakes, etc. have all missing parts. The tires are in poor condition. The door lock mechanisms are missing. The stainless-steel trims and window frames are in fair condition. Some of the side glasses are cracked. The windshield is not cracked. The rear glass in missing. The gas tank was removed. Windows don’t operate. Transportation is not provided. Transportation costs shall be paid by the buyer. The car can roll and be pushed. However, the transporter will need a winch or a come along to move the car on a trailer. No vehicle warranty is offered or implied. The vehicle is sold in “As Is Condition”.
