The vehicle had previous fresh water damage. The interior was dry and never took on any water. The previous owner drove through standing water which was sucked into the engine causing it to hydro lock. The transmission also needed to be replaced but it was because the vehicle wasn"t towed properly. The replacement engine had 22K miles and the replacement transmission had 10,940 miles on it. The engine and transmission replacement went great. This Terrain runs and drives excellent in its current condition with no issues found in the engine, transmission, suspension, cooling and/or electrical. For out of State customers should something major occur we are more than happy to ship parts to you, but we do not cover labor charges that are not our own. This coverage includes the engine and transmission, not the engine accessories (starter, alternator, a/c pump ect.) Drivability Details This vehicle has been test driven and is found to be in excellent operating condition. The wheel alignment is correct, the tires are balanced, the brake pads have no issues.
