Vehicle description
Super clean Lexus LX with great paint for the age. Runs ultra smooth, quiet and VERY strong. Body is perfect with one blemish on right side fender and one on rear quarter. Paint is great, clear coat is just starting to fade on the roof and hood. Major overhaul has been completed with less than 10,000 miles on the odometer. There is NO rust anywhere on my cruiser.
Engine rebuilt by a local professional 11/2017 with new head work, new piston rings, new gaskets, new seals, new belts, hoses, timing chain and guides, oil pump,. . 306K miles on rest of the vehicle. Transmission fluid was drained and replaced during engine rebuild and runs effortlessly. A/C is ice cold with a fresh charge, and heat is super hot, including rear foot heater. New MLS head gasket for reliability and ready for turbo kit or TRD supercharger, along with ARP head studs. Valve Cover was powder coated blue at a local business and head work was done by a very long running, family-owned machine shop in my area. Virtually all hoses and belts have been replaced, and I saved receipts for most of it, and will include in sale. This vehicle runs effortlessly and smooth.
Upgrades include new upgraded speaker wiring to all 4 doors, new leather/suede front seats (both seat motors work), Alpine S-line separates (midrange, tweeters) in front doors and A-pillars, and Alpine 2 way speakers in rear. Pioneer 4100 A/V head unit with Bluetooth hands free calling, hard drive storage, CD/DVD playback. Subwoofer box in picture is not included in sale. ALL 4 power windows work, with new parts where needed. If you know these vehicles, this was an issue on the FJ80s. LED dome lamps, upgraded bright headlight bulbs.
OME 2.5" lift including factory-like ride coils, OME shocks, and castor corrector bushings along with OME steering damper. Sequoia LTD edition DARK gray wheels, Nitto Terra-Grappler G2s have less than 6K miles. Brand new U-joints in both drive shafts.
Cons:
CEL is on, and I am told it is an O2 sensor. I have replaced one, I am not replacing the other.
Factory roof rack has been removed because of damage.
Truck has been in a storage unit for several months with less than 10K miles after engine rebuild.
