First titled in 2018 with 2200 test miles. Titled in Florida as a 1966 Shelby Cobra. The chassis and body were professionally built by Hunter Cobra Replica Cars in Florida along with the body finished in gelcoat. The body underwent paint work with both sides of the hood, doors, trunk and firewall finished in basecoat clearcoat and wet sanded to a glass-like shine. Steel 2x4 boxed rigid frame with four-link independent rear suspension. Independent rear suspension with a Corvette rear that has 308 gears. QA1 shocks and springs and disk brakes on all for corners. Wilwood dual master brake cylinder for safety along with a Lokar e-brake. The Wilwood clutch master cylinder is paired with a RAM clutch and Mcleod Racing throw-out bearing. The 427ci engine was built by Big Machine in Sarasota Florida.
Engine:
Original FE 427ci cross bolt block (1963 Ford Galaxie Casting# C3AE-6015-AB with a 4.23 cylinder bore block) with ported and polished cylinder heads (Casting# D2TEAA hardened steel valve seats for unleaded gas). Freshly built with new Icon pistons, rings, bearings, Comp Cam (Street/Strip) balanced crankshaft, lifters, valve springs, decked and bored .30 over with 2000 test miles. High volume Melling oil pump and high volume Moroso oil pan. Holley four-barrel dual pumper manual choke carburetor. MSD 6AL ignition and mechanical distributor. Cast aluminum Cobra LeMans valve covers. Runs on premium gas.
