I have had a stroke and am experiencing declining health. These health challenges are the only reason motivating the sale of this outstanding automobile. I do not want to part with her, and would not if my life-situation were different. I am also selling my lovely XJ8 if you are looking for a sedan.
The car is flawless. The top has no tears or stains. It goes up/down without problems (not lightening fast, but it functions just fine). The tonneau cover is in great shape with no tears or stains. The paint is glossy. There is no rust on the car. The car has always been stored indoors (and covered). I was told by the previous owner that the timing chain issue (which can be an Achilles Heal regarding the motor of this series of Jaguar) has already been addressed. I do not have that paperwork, but I have no reason to doubt the previous party’s word. The motor is strong and quiet. It does not burn oil. It does not leak/seep fluids. It does not knock or ping. I always have used premium fuel when driving. The tires are in great shape, as are the brakes. There are no check-engine lights on the dash. Everything functions as it should. It has a new power antennae (as I forgot to shut the radio off prior to going through the car-wash). Door locks and remotes function as they should. I have all manuals and two sets of keys. I would drive this car anywhere . She is rock-solid, and will serve you well should you chose to adopt her. Price: $5700.00
