| “I'm selling this for a friend, He Purchased this Scout in 2001 and has been in Las Vegas until last month. He Moved back to Iowa. Vehicle has been driven a few time in Iowa.and only driven in good weather only regardless, No rust holes in body, surface rust from condinsation inside roof. Rear seat needs recovering but in the truck.One picture show side emblems chrome badges. Drivers side has two small holes for an emblem we don't have and don't know what it is that is missing. Side mirriors are missing, Vacuum windshield wipers don't work. Wiper arms are in box in the vehicle.Window rubber is cracked and needs replaced, Door seals are bad, Dual tanks right side need cleaned/rusty.not being used Speedomter shows 29552 but doesn't work cable is missing. Tires are old but shows a lot of tread. It has door lock but they don't work. Vehicle description
Has been driven daily in good weather. Runs very well. Stopped driving after rear oil seal leak discovered. Purchased in 2001. Currently titled in Nevada. Recently moved to Iowa. Vehicle was trailered during move. Previously titled in Nevada and Utah according to previous owner. Prior owner repaired damage to driver"s door area, including replacing door. Filler in replacement door is cracking. Speedometer doesn"t work. Gas gauge isn"t working now but has in the past. Dual tanks. Passenger side tank isn"t connected, needs cleaning. Roof to windshield connecting plate is missing. Soft top fabric is in poor condition, all hardware is present for soft top. Drivers door window regulator spring is broken. I have a new regulator for scout 800 that needs altering. Rear window above tailgate is hard to open. Carburetor gas leak. Multiple oil leaks from engine and transmission. Right side rear axle oil seal leaks. Heater cable seized. Blower motor runs but is noisy. Door seals, window rubber cracked and needs to be replaced. Small areas of surface rust, especially inside hard top. No side mirrors, Door locks don"t work keys don"t fit.
