Vehicle description
I am posting my 2007 SRT8 Charger for sale as it currently is. Salvage title (able to register on the street, not a salvage CERTIFICATE) and non-op"ed to get DMV fees paid. Runs and Drives but not smoggable due to oil catch can and the modifications to the stock intake required for the Shaker Hood. Bring a trailer, because although it drives, you don"t want to get pulled over on the way home. The car would also need a front bumper (or significant work to the current one) as well as some work on the dashboard. I have included pictures. Now that that is out of the way, the Good: -6.1L SRT Hemi V8 and transmission are perfect. Around 78kmiles (See odometer picture) -Stock Brembo BBK front and rear. -Decent aftermarket wheels and tires (stocks not included, tires are somewhat old on current tires) -Comes with most KW tools and a DiabloSport Tuner
-Plethora of aftermarket parts including- Mopar Coilovers,Mopar Cat-back, Functional Shaker Hood, Oil Catch Can, and more. -Interior has been re-upholstered in leather. While things like the dashboard haven"t fared well, the seats are nicely re-upholstered in full leather, with aftermarket seat heaters placed in the front. -Full sound system installed in the car, Rear subs and amp in trunk with a custom leather panel providing a clean storage area. Worked when parked, audio problems currently, presumably a fairly quick fix. -The car ROARS when you floor it. Definitely puts a smile on your face like an SRT8 Hemi is supposed to. So whats the deal? How did the car get in this state of disrepair? Well, the car sat for about 3 years before falling into my lap relatively recently as collateral to a debt. To figure out what I was going to do with the car, and the state of the mechanical bits, I took the car to a local shop to be "revived".New spark plugs (all 16), all new fluids, new batteries, and we dropped the fuel tank to drain the gas and install new gaskets/fuel pumps. Basically anything that handled spark, fuel, or any other liquid was looked at and replaced if necessary. Receipts included and can be sent on request. Everything came back perfectly, and I"ve put some miles on it since, and it drives mechanically perfectly. The problem is that in the period of sitting, the exterior of the car, and parts of the interior (mainly the dash) have deteriorated. That combined with smog problems means I am looking to sell the car. Seems to be the least headache-inducing way. If you have made it this far into the post, hopefully you realize why I am selling it as a parts/swap car or to an out-of-state buyer. All of the performance bits of this car are a real hoot, however the rest of the car attached to it could use some real work.
