Vehicle description
1956 Volkswagen / VW beetle ragtop;original ragtop car. The car has been repainted it’s original color, black about five years ago. The interior was also replaced in the original color called brick. All the chrome had been re-chromed at that time, the bumpers are extremely straight. It has new wide white walls tires on it.
The car has never been hit in the front or the back or any bad body damage that I know of. The paint has a slight problem on the roof in a couple spots due to the prep work not being done correctly, but the car looks real good. The steering wheel was redone but wasn’t done correctly so there’s a lot of cracks in it. The head liner was replaced but it was installed poorly, so it is coming apart, It could use a new headliner or the one in there can be reinstall.
The running boards are good, floors are all good, battery tray is good.
Car was off the road for many years and sat inside the garage so It preserve the car extremely well. California car originally from Central California brought down to Victorville which is a dry desert in Southern California.
The car runs and drives great. Everything seems to work. Also five years ago when the car was repainted the motor was rebuilt, transmission was checked out, New brakes where installed, some work to the front, there was a lot of restoration work already done on the car. The entire body lines up really well, the hood, deck lid, and doors. Very hard to find rust free car, wanted to keep this one as a cruiser but forced to sell due to health reasons.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
