Vehicle description

2011 Freightliner Cascadia 113 Daycab. We shut our trucking branch down during the beginning of the pandemic, and are finally liquidating the last asset. The trailer is already sold. In late 2019 the tractor had been gone over in detail, cleaned carefully, and fully serviced. Some of the details on it and the work we did are are below.
The Engine (781 cu in, 420 HP) was been gone over in detail by 1-70 Trucks, the computer has been read, there are no anomalies. The exhaust system is 100% but the ash filter will need to be serviced at 750,000 miles. The system itself is good for a million miles if serviced when warning lights come on.
The engine had an oil leak around where the power steering pump fits, the gaskets and o rings have been replaced and it subsided. There was also a small coolant leak, the return hose was bad, that has been replaced as well.
When you get this truck it has new oil, new fuel, oil, brake air, and air filters in it. The transmission and rear end fluids have been checked, and are clean and have no metal in them. I have driven this truck a couple hundred miles since then and it runs fine, everything works.
The oil change interval on this model is 30,000 miles, use either Rotella or Delvac Diesel oil only. Those two still have the zinc additives in them that save cams and pistons. The oil capacity is 40 quarts.
The front wheel bearings have been inspected, cleaned, and the brake cams, shoes, springs, and links have been replaced. You have Q+ brake shoes, those are the best of the best. The front axle has Hyatt liquid lubed bearing assemblies. We used only Lucas Bearing oil for the front axle.
The Drive wheels have had their brakes changed as well, again new shoes, new cams, new rollers, new seals. The drive axles are internally lubed from the differentials so there is no lube fitting on them. The tractor is sitting on 10 brand new California Eco compliant low rolling resistance tires and they are balanced. When I ran the tractor I took it up to 75 MPH and there is no vibration at all.
You have new antifreeze in the truck, it uses the new yellow high efficiency coolant.
The brake air system normally runs at 110 pounds, the warnings come on at 60 pounds, the truck will pump full air in about two minutes from cold, it holds well for 6-8 hours. Both air tanks have auto drains on them, but the tanks should be manually drained in the morning.
The fifth wheel on this tractor is a power lock adjustable hitch with 4’ of motion.
The tractor weighs 16,000 pounds with a half load of fuel. Your fuel capacity is 140 gallons, 70 each side, when fueling you have to fuel each tank separately, the cross connect valving is not large enough for single point fueling. Your total range when full is about 750 miles
There were some age cracks on the passenger side of the hood have been ground out, and repaired depending on the location reinforced with either 4 or 6 layers of new fiberglass that have been added. The hood is in good shape now that all the cracks are glassed back up and the former cracks will not “walk” any further. These repairs have been spot painted.
We haven"t had much opportunity to run this truck since shutting the business down, so it needs a owner that can put it to use. It"s a solid deal at this price, its worth easily $6k more than the starting price I"m asking, title is clear and ready to transfer.
