Vehicle description
This car was designed and built for La Carrera Panamericana, the Mexican Road Race (world renowned race from southern Mexico to Nuevo Laredo). It has been campaigned three times in the “Panam” andhas been on the podium multiple times for day stages and finished all three races. It has a full cage, racing seats, fuel cell, 12-bolt 3:31 rearend with posi-traction,Jerico transmission with Hurst Super Shifter, Mark Williams axles and c-clipeliminator kit, Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners, Wilwood master cylinder, front and rear sway bars, Howe aluminum radiator, MSD ignition, Doug Thorleyheaders, Koni shocks, Summit springs, Proven Force custom driveshaft, and lotsmore. The engine is 327 ci built on a 350 ci 010 4-bolt block by professional enginebuilder Tesar engineering and never run except on the dyno. The engine dynoedat 433 peak horsepower with over 400 lb-ft torque from 4300 to 5200 rpm. (It isimportant to note in reviewing engine specs that the engine was designed and builtfor a 2000-mile endurance event. This is a road race car, not a muscle car. Racerules require original bore and stroke, thus the 327 ci (332 ci overbore) displacement).Minor damage to front quarter easily repaired. This a California car, body andframe are solid and have no rust. The car is complete but needs to be reassembled(and washed) and I don’t have time.
