O ne of only 5 produced in 2014. Dodge Challenger Richard Petty Edition (#002), driven only 6700 miles and meticulously maintained. The original Hemi V8 was modified by Petty"s Garage and included an 8lb Magnuson Supercharger backe d by the Dodge high performance 6 speed transmission. The exterior color is Billet silver metallic with a Petty optioned carbon fiber hood and rear spoiler. Interior features Richard Petty gauges and seats. Even the face of the tachometer is signed by the "King" Richard Petty himself. I have all the paperwork that accompanied the Challenger from the day it arrived at Petty"s garage. According to Motor Trend magazine, Richard Petty featured a specially prepared Dodge Challenger R/T at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The car was so well received that he decided to have the Richard Petty Garage in Randleman, N.C. to produce 200 "Richard Petty Edition" Challengers over the next 5 years.
