This Gazelle is a Replica of a 1929 Mercedes SSK. It was hand built and completed in 1998, by an experienced Engineer, with a passion for building his own car; I am the second owner. This car has a fiberglass body with it’s own frame. It is equipped with a rebuilt Ford 2.3 liter, 4 cylinder engine and has a 4 speed manual transmission. The car runs great, currently has 2916 miles on it, since the engine was completely rebuilt; it has a new battery, new generator and very good tires. Comes with all manuals, receipts, documentation of build and extra parts. Front seats have been custom re-upholstered by a professional automotive interior specialist and are very comfortable. There is a heater for when the days are cool and you just want to go out for a cruise in the autumn weather. I added a custom Mercedes real wood steering wheel to the vehicle, which matches the real wood dash. The car has only been driven on weekends during the nice summer weather. The title is clear and currently registered in the State of Michigan. This car is currently insured through Hagerty and is very cheap to insure. The convertible top and tonneau cover are in good condition; I have currently taken these off the car, but they are included in the sale. The entertainment system is a CD/radio with a removable face and remote. It has an old fashioned “A-Oogah” horn as well as another horn which plays multiple sounds and tunes… a real crowd pleaser! Great parade car which turns heads everywhere you go… people always want their pictures taken with this convertible. I have owned this vehicle since 2012 and have moved onto another convertible… time to let someone else have some fun with this car.
